Wow after two months of designing and planning aka procrastinating…my blog is finally up! I decided a while ago that I would love to start a fashion and hair blog since I have so much free time after school. I really enjoy journaling, fashion on Pinterest, stalking bloggers, and styling hair so the pieces fit perfectly. Someone once told me to make a blog so here we are. If I had to sum up my personality and fashion life I would say I am the girliest a girl can get and a full time drama queen. I spend most of my time either in my own closet or my mom’s…just kidding but I do spend a long time picking out my outfits because it is truly the best way in expressing personality. I get my diva side from my mom. Shopping is my element and my happy place. I could spend hours at the mall and not get tired but if you put me out on the field I would be absolutely lost.
Anyway, for my first post I went with my Sunday outfit that pretty much has fall written all over it. I absolutely love dressing up for church and a nice pencil skirt always does the trick. Right now leopard print is my favorite thing to wear so this skirt is a must. Kimonos are really in too so I paired the narrow skirt with a cream flowy kimono which together makes an outfit that’s oh so elegant. Underneath I just put a simple purple v-neck to give some color. For accessories and accents I chose gold so I have these metallic-looking oxfords with some gold jewelry. Personally I think that high buns and pencil skirts fit hand in hand plus my hair wasn’t cooperating that morning so it kinda worked out. To add a nice touch, I painted my nails a maroon and glossed my lips with violet.
Yay for my first post! Remember to follow my hair Instagram account where I show all of my hairstyles as well as my main Instagram account. I am constantly on Pinterest daydreaming about life and mostly pinning hair & fashion inspiration so follow me on Pinterest too. I’m hoping to post at least weekly depending on my schedule. I am planning on doing every other post about hair and my style.
If you have any requests for a hair tutorial that you’d like to see from the options on my @hairbywhyt account just contact me. Also, I love to style and experiment on different people’s hair so if you’d like to come get your hair done you know where to find me. Halloween’s coming up and if you need someone to style your hair for your fabulous costume I’d be willing to help. School dances are another reason to come get your hair braided or curled.
