May Showers // Color Pops

That’s right…I wore a dress in the rain. It’s okay though because I layered my t-shirt dress and made it ten times more comfy and warm. With this oversized royal blue sweater (my very favorite color by the way) I made a slim dress look like a pencil skirt. This way I can use a dress for two completely different outfits. By using a large sweater you can slip it over the dress without it even looking like it’s a dress underneath. Lots of color really cheers up my day after rain and dark skies. So I went with some sunny yellow flats and a mint watch. These big clear ear studs can go with just about anything and are neutralized with the pops of the outfit. ย Vegas weather is super bipolar so I had on some purple shades for when the pouring rain would turn into sunshine. To top off the look, I had a messy top knot bun to keep things simple. I hope you all had fun with puddles and cuddles in the windy cold rain but I am staying cheerful this spring!

The clouds were so pretty that I just had to take pictures in the middle of the street.

I love your outfit! I’m going to try this because we have bipolar weather in Utah as well.
